My reading group will have a quiz on Tuesday over Unit 1 skills and vocabulary. Don't forget to study!
5th and 6th grade students, please don't forget to complete your Constitution Day posters. I'd like to mail those off by Tuesday at the latest.
Social Studies - 6th: We will finally get into our ancient Mesopotamia unit! Things to think about: Why would early people settle by a large river? What is a civilization and how do they develop? What contributions did the people from Mesopotamia make to all of humankind? How do they still influence our lives today?
Social Studies - 5th: We are going to finish our Treasure Island Map Skills activity on Tuesday. We will then start our Native Americans unit, always a favorite!
